The Association of Clearing & Forwarding Agents, Sri Lanka (ACFA) successfully hosted its seminar on “Digital Signatures & New Customs Entry Framing” on 26 November 2025 at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Colombo 7. The event was met with an overwhelming response, attracting more than 150 participants from across the trade and logistics industry, including importers, exporters, freight forwarders, customs house agents, and shipping professionals.
The seminar brought together a distinguished panel of experts who shared valuable knowledge and practical insights on the latest developments in customs procedures and digital transformation. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Seevali Arukgoda, Director General of Sri Lanka Customs, while the technical sessions were conducted by Mr. Dinuk Wijeratne, Ms. Primali Alwis, Mr. Lakshanth Jayasekara, and Mr. Ashan Weeraman. Their presentations helped participants gain a clearer understanding of digital signatures, the new customs entry framework, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
